The project was initiated in 1984 with a low-income housing project with the name IBECHS Phase-1 and later moved on to Phase II now known as Pakistan Town.

IBECHS further launched another project with the name of Gulberg Islamabad in 2005. It is one of the most spacious and luxurious housing society located in one of the prime locations in Zone IV of Islamabad.

Gulberg Greens consist of a luxury Argo Farms Housing project and Gulberg Residencia. The location of both the projects was chosen wisely and planned on Islamabad Highway right on the intersection of zone IV and Zone V. 3km away from Benazir Bhutto Airport and only 12km from Islamabad Club.

Location IBECHS

IBECHS is situated at the main Islamabad Expressway near Airport Chowk and has a very easy access route. The office of IBECHS is located in Gulberg Green; you can easily visit and purchase the plot that you like instantly.


The society NOC of Gulberg Islamabad is approved from CDA against the reference no. CDA/PLW-HS (127)/2009/257. The project was officially launched in 2005 and also later in 2009.

Development IBECHS

The Gulberg Residencia is connected to the Gulberg Greens through a bridge, where it is connected to Gulberg Residencia through a bridge which is currently under construction.

Gulberg Residencia is located about 6 to 7 KM off the Islamabad Highway. A 220 ft wide Gulberg Expressway connects Gulberg Greens with Gulberg Residencia through a bridge that is under construction currently.

The master plan of Gulberg Residencia consists of residential plots of 200 yards up to 1000 yards.

Gulberg Residencia spans over a total of 15000 Kanal of the area which is divided into approximately 10,000 residential plots.

Project Details

Following the trend of societies in its region e.g. Park View City and Bahira Enclave, Gulberg Greens also named the blocks in the easiest alphabetical order. The whole project is divided into 21 different blocks named from A to V but excluding U.

D comprises of the commercial block of the developed area of Gulberg Residencia while the remaining blocks comprise of the residential area.

Plots of varies sizes are available in these blocks ranging from 200 Sq. Yards, 272 Sq.Yards, 356 Sq.Yards, 500 Sq.Yards and 1000 Sq.Yards.

A Gulberg Expressway is planned to be build passing through A and B blocks towards the commercial area of the housing project. The development along this expressway will constitute in making the newest Blue Area in Islamabad.

Blocks E, F, G, and J are fully developed, and the possession is given of plots in these blocks. The block I am next in line to get fully developed and offer possession. The development work in most areas of blocks H, O, V, T & L is also near completion.The work in the blocks A & B has also started, and these will be delivered soon as well.

The asphalt work is completed all through society, and many streets are paved, and a wide network of roads in many blocks makes travelling much easier in the project.

Block V is situated near to Naval Anchorage, and will soon get its access gate from Naval Anchorage.
