Muzaffargarh: the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the sanction of the Rs. 10 billion for the several uplifts of the projects proposed throughout the 30-year master plan strategy for several development projects in Muzaffargarh district.
Until now, Muzaffargarh Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amjad Shoaib Tareen chaired a meeting session. Officials from both the district administration and the Asian Development Bank were also present at the meeting.
Under this initiative, the district administration would be able to project the program under the Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program and for this, the concerned authorities have carved out the 30-year plan.
As per this initiative district, the administration of the district will be initiating the program about the cleanliness, greenery projects, infrastructure development, parks, sewerage drainage system, and also the water purification plants for the coming 30 years.
Additionally, Deputy Commissioner Tareen expressed that that the concerned authorities intend to develop a public bus stand in the respective areas, adding that the proposed 30-year plan would be creating job opportunities for the local populace.
