Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a cold wave is sweeping through Karachi and is expected to worsen over the weekend. Residents should brace themselves for a cold and rainy weekend. According to the forecast, Karachi’s weather will remain cloudy with a minimum temperature of up to 10 degrees Celsius and 61 percent humidity.

Most of the country can expect cold and partly cloudy weather, according to the National Weather Forecasting Centre. During the night, dense fog is expected to prevail in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mohenjo-daro, and surrounding areas.

In Balochistan, cold weather is expected in most district areas, with minimum temperatures reaching minus 4 degrees Celsius in north Balochistan. During the evening/night, Quetta, Ziarat, Pashin, Qila Saifullah, and Qila Abdullah are likely to experience light rain/snowfall.
