Peshawar: The latest news report that the deadline for the completion of the Peshawar Northern Bypass Project has been announced. The project that aims to reduce traffic issues in the city is scheduled to be completed by March 2024.

According to an NHA official, land-related problems have been solved that led to the delay in the development of the project. He added that construction work on the site is in full swing, and the contractor along with the heavy machinery, has been dispatched to the construction area.

The responsible authority has asked the contractor to speed up and work double shifts so that the project is completed within the deadline. It is noteworthy that the first phase of the Peshawar Northern Bypass Project is complete, and the second phase is being worked on.
Highlighting the significance of the project, the concerned authority stated that the project would be a ‘game changer for the region’ as it would improve the flow of traffic in Peshawar city.
