Faisalabad: According to news reports, Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Suhail Ashraf asked the administration to resolve parking issues at the Clock Tower Bazar on Tuesday (May 31). He also stated that plans would be made to put street lights around the city.

According to reports, the DC visited the Clock Tower and eight bazaars nearby to inquire about traffic difficulties in the city. He directed the authorities to use parking spaces near the Clock Tower Chowk and an under-construction parking plaza outside Chiniot Bazaar to handle these concerns. He also stated that the parking problem would be resolved permanently in the near future.

In addition, DC mentioned at a meeting to examine the city’s infrastructure and related difficulties that the local government has earmarked PKR 35 million for streetlight development. The lamps will be installed in significant places and roadways around the city, including an 85-foot double road, and old lights will be replaced in the city’s main boulevard area. He requested that the government speed up the development of the city in order to provide relief to the residents.
