Faisalabad: According to the news issued on 13th January, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) will demolish illegal housing societies in prohibited zone. Dr. Muhammad Zahid Ikram, the Director General (DG), stated that no housing society would be built in the restricted area. This concrete departmental strategy was followed for the implementation of land use rules.

DG went to assess the restricted area on Narwala Road. He checked the zone plan by going to Chak 61-JB and Chak 58-JB. He instructed FDA to initiate legal action against the owners of housing projects and demolish any structures in any unlawful housing schemes built in forbidden places.

Additionally, DG Ikram emphasized the necessity of ongoing monitoring to ensure land use regulations are followed. He continued by saying that any carelessness or neglect would not be allowed.
Before designing a housing project, the developers were given the go-ahead by DG to obtain comprehensive information regarding the zoning plan. He emphasized the need to research a housing scheme before investing your hard-earned money.
