China: As per the latest updates, Huawei has entered the global market with three new phones in its Mate 60 series, all of which are equipped with 5G capabilities. As per the sources from China, this is just the first move of Huawei since the company is struggling to step again into the global smartphone market. The company is actively aiming to expand its services worldwide.
It is important to mention that Huawei has been involved in the ongoing trade conflict between China and the United States for more than five years. As a result, the company is still striving to access the majority of the US’s latest technologies.
However, the Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, and Mate 60 Pro+ have been released with 5G capabilities and come equipped with the Kirin 9000S chipset. These were created utilizing cutting-edge 7nm technology.
Following that, till now 20 million units have already been shipped. In addition, the upcoming Mate 60 Pro models will be composed of an additional 6 million units. It is almost one-third of the remaining outstanding orders.

Previously, Huawei owned a substantial 42% share of the Chinese smartphone market. Though, this share has now decreased to less than 10%. Besides, on the global stage, Huawei’s market share witnessed a mere 3%, representing a six-fold decline from the mid-2019.
Furthermore, sources are also claiming that there are chances that the series might be accessible only in the Chinese market. Since Huawei does not have the right to issue an official statement on the matter, we have to consider the possibility of a global release too.
