Islamabad: According to the latest news reports, the National Highway Authority (NHA) has decided to rebuild the Hub Bridge on Karachi-Quetta National Highway (N-25). The bridge was washed away by the recent rains and flash floods.

In order to examine the current state of the NHA network, an executive board meeting of the NHA was recently convened at the headquarters under the direction of NHA Chairman Captain Muhammad Khurram Agha. According to the Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services Asad Mahmood’s instructions, the Hub Bridge, which connects Sindh and Balochistan, would be rebuilt.

The meeting approved the construction of the bridge. As per the NHA officials, the Hub Bypass will create new chances for socio-economic growth in the area. The workforce of NHA has been told by the NHA chairman to be ready for any emergency. As stated by the chairman, the restoration of traffic on the system of national highways and motorways was a priority, and all resources would be employed for it.
