KARACHI: According to the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Mr. Khalid Mansour Pakistan’s labour is more cost efficient than in China, that makes it more attractive for the Chinese Capital.

Mr. Mansour stated that China is facing a problem of hiring skilled labour because of its internal migration trends delivering a presentation at the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday. Human resource problem is a foreground because of the one-child policy place recently. Pakistan’s population rapidly growing that makes the local labour more affordable for Chinese investors.

Mr. Mansour also stated that various projects under CPEC are in a rapid development phase along with the development of nine special economic zones (SEZs), and free zone in Gwadar. He divulged that the impression that SEZs preference to Chinese investors. He also added that German and Dutch businesses along with a large number of local companies are interested to invest in thses zones.
