Lakki Marwat: The University of Lakki Marwat has floated tenders for construction of the administration and academic blocks.
Briefing the participants of a pre-bidding meeting at the university’s conference hall in Lakki city on Monday, the varsity’s director works Mohammad Shoaib Sabeel said the tenders had been floated after consultation with Nespak.
He said both the blocks would be completed at a cost of Rs400 million under the package-1. He added building roads, hostels and libraries had been included in the next packages.
Mr Sabeel said the varsity’s works department with the help of a consultancy firm would ensure quality construction work.
He said the local youths belonging to poor families won’t have to go to Peshawar and Islamabad to get higher education there as they would now have an international standard university in their own area.
