According to a statement issued here, NAB’s Peshawar office had received a complaint that employees of the provincial revenue department had allegedly transferred government property worth Rs 480 million in Mouza Tukra No 1 through fake transfer deeds to private beneficiaries.

They then made bogus entry to the government record in violation of the law, thus causing huge loss to the exchequer.

NAB provincial chief Brig retired Farooq Naser Awan said the bureau was committed to ensuring across the board accountability on the basis of solid evidence as per the law.
