Islamabad: E-bidding and E-billing is the new digital system that is to facilitate the overall country towards innovation and digitalization, as Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the latest session.
Imran Khan was addressing the opening ceremony of the e-bidding, e-billing, and GIS Mapping System of the National Highway Authority (NHA). In that ceremony, the primary aim was to guarantee transparency in the overall development of reward agreements.
Furthermore, he emphasized that e-bidding is going to eliminate direct interaction with people that is pretty much needed in this coronavirus outbreak. It will also alleviate the chances of bribery and corruption from the economy. Thus, a country could never progress if it is entailed with such evils.
Moreover, the PM is also expected to digitize the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to make the tax collection easier than before.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister also directed the concerned representatives to take all the possible measures to bring down the prices of entire basic items, including sugar, wheat, and others.
The meeting was concluded with the primary aim to take necessary steps to alleviate inflation, economic deficiencies, and other evils that are threatening the Pakistan’s economy.
