Islamabad: According to news reports, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed opened the Pakistan Monument Park in Sector H-8 to the public on Thursday (March 24).

Pakistan Monument Park is being built along the Islamabad Highway under the shadow of the world’s largest national flag, according to the details. Residents of Islamabad will be able to learn about Pakistan’s history and enjoy some entertainment at the park. Its main goal is to educate the younger generation about the independence movement and the sacrifices made in the name of freedom.
The park also has a walk-through history museum as well as 2D and 3D built walls. According to a statement released by the CDA, the park features a picture representation of the world’s largest migration to raise historical understanding of Pakistan’s independence among the younger generation.

In addition, the CDA is moving quickly to install other amenities like walkways, children’s cycling tracks, swings, running tracks, benches, parking, security, and lighting. It was found that different seasonal flowers are planted to maintain the atmosphere fresh and green.
