Islamabad: As per the latest update, the Punjab Government handover 45,267 acres of land to the Pakistan Army for Corporate Farming.

As per the report, 45,267 acres of land will include three districts, such as:
- 42,724 acres of land are handover to Tehsil Kaloor Kot and Mankera in Bhakkar
- 1818 acres of land are handover to Tehsils Quaidabad and Khushab in Khushab
- 725 acres of land are handover to Tehsil Chichawatni of Sahiwal
Additionally, the Punjab government will provide the land and the Pak army will use its resources and retain the project management. On the other hand, the private sector will invest and provide additional support, including a supply of fertilizers.

The retired army offices of Pakistan will handle this corporate farming project. The Punjab government will hold 40% of the profits from this project. In addition, 20% will be used and spent on modern research and development in the agriculture sector. The remaining percentages will be used for the succeeding crops and expansion of the project.

From this project, the products will not only cater to the food needs of the people of Pakistan. It will further be used to improve the foreign exchange reserves by exporting agricultural products.
