Lahore: Punjab Planning and Development (P&D) Board has released PKR 8.21 billion for various development projects across the province, news sources reported recently.

The projects include the construction of roads and infrastructure development across various districts of the province. Following are details of some of the projects being funded:
The government has allotted PKR 2.85 billion for the establishment of a sub-campus of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Chichwatni, according to the information provided. The building of an 11.90-kilometre-long dual road in Rahim Yar Khan from Thalli Chowk to Iqbal Abad has been budgeted at PKR 870.17 million (N5).

Similarly, the government has set aside PKR 450.70 million for the building of 8.8-kilometre-long roads in Vehari, as well as PKR 1.38 billion for the construction and dualization of a 16.50-kilometre-long road in Gujrat.
