Islamabad: Sindh High Court orders to submit the records referencing the Bahria Town Karachi (BTK). The Karachi Bar Association claimed in the court petition that this project was constructed on public property without permission. The petition is the origin of the order. The appropriate agencies are to deliver all track records, specifically those referring to Bahria Town’s land transfer, within 15 days.

Before the subsequent hearing, which is scheduled for April, the case has been rescheduled. The Karachi Bar Association made land accusations against Bahria Town Karachi, but BTK disapproved. BTK claims that other housing schemes are being constructed close to BTK-2 correspondingly.
According to BTK, the high court should not settle factual controversies or disagreements. The court has commanded all the parties to submit land-related records within 15 days relating to the original allottees. The next hearing is set for April.

The petitioner also requested the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) consisting of NAB, MI, FIA, ISI, IB, and other relevant officers. NAB and FIA were urged to pursue lawful action against those accountable for giving forging documents and BTK NOCs in the company’s favour.
