Meanwhile, in the first phase of the Ehsaas Program, Nishtar quoted that “The government’s cornerstone policy is aimed at tackling stunting and improving the nutrition of poor children via a blend of cash scholarships, nutritional food, medical examination, and training.”
National Nutrition Survey 2018 showed that 46.6 percent of children in Baluchistan are actually affected by malnutrition stunting, with major impacts on healthcare and community results.
Furthermore, Ehsaas has initiated the Ehsaas Nashonuma program to ensure that this form of malnutrition does not continue to jeopardize the human resources needed to support socio-economic growth.
The centers in the impoverished province of the country were established in cooperation with the Government of Baluchistan and the World Food Program.
