Lahore: As per the latest news, the United States Agency for International Aid (USAID) is about to launch numerous small dams and energy projects in Punjab.
The Chief Minister of Punjab, Pervaiz Elahi, and USAID Mission Director Pakistan, Reed Aeschliman, shared the plan in a meeting to provide affordable electricity to citizens. CM stated that Punjab needs more energy as it has the largest population among all the provinces. He further described the ongoing developments.

In the meeting, both parties agreed to expand bilateral institutes in the sectors of agriculture, water management, security, education, energy, and information technology. California has designated Punjab as its sister province, and Pakistan is one of the largest beneficiaries of USAID funding.
