Lahore: The city administration has announced the awarding of the tender for the mega road infrastructure project of Gulab Devi underpass to the SARCO & SACHAL construction, as per the news story published.

As per the details shared, two construction firms bid on the project. One of these construction firms proposed a financial estimate of 0.5% lesser amount than the estimated project cost, whereas the SARCO & SACHAL construction firm won the tender by bidding 1% less amount than the estimated cost.

The project is estimated to cost PKR 1.70 billion. The winning bid will be finalized for the issuance of the work order. Previously, the tender for another mega road infrastructure project ‘Shakam Chowk flyover’ has been awarded to NLC.

Moreover, it was also highlighted that the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will issue funds in the ongoing fiscal year for the development of Gulab Devi underpass, Shahkam Chowk flyover, Kareem Block flyover/underpass and Sheranwala Gate flyover.
