Karachi: According to our sources, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) barrister Murtaza Wahab has announced that road repair work has begun in various parts of the city, including the Pakistan Employees’ Cooperative Housing Association (PECHS), officials said Tuesday (March 1).

KMC has begun construction of the Shabbirabad Johar Road, which connects PECHS’s Ameer Khusro Road and Tipu Sultan Road. The KMC manager reported that the total cost of the road was Rs 35 million. In parallel with the construction work, the underground pipeline was also repaired. According to the information, the road will be completed by March 20th.

KMC is reported to have completed the first phase of the 6-kilometer McDonald’s to the Karachi nuclear power plant Hawksbay Road. A 5.5-kilometre road connecting Shalahef Mayun and Shawariura Road was built in Federal B Area Block 4. KMC administrator Wahab announced that the Alterf Hussein Barrelbi Road has been carpeted and the bridge from Kashmir Park to Riaqua Tabard has been renovated.
